R-藻红蛋白（R-PE）是一种荧光蛋白，可以从红藻中分离出来，属于蛋白的藻胆蛋白家族。R-PE是一种极强的荧光藻胆蛋白，具有橙红色荧光。R-PE可用作蓝细菌存在和标记抗体的基于荧光的指示剂。

 分子量：约 240,000 道尔顿 组成：蛋白的亚基组成为(alpha-beta)6gamma。每个alpha-亚基和 beta-亚基约 20,000 道尔顿，每个 gamma 亚基约 30,000 道尔顿。 激发波长Ex：450-500 nm 发射波长Em：575 ± 5 nm 形态：Protein suspension in 60% ammonium sulfate, 20 mM Phosphate buffer (pH 7.0) and 2 mM EDTA.

应用：
藻红蛋白 (R-PE)，在实验室中可作为蓝藻存在和各种免疫荧光应用的基于荧光的指标。在各种电泳过程中，R-PE 是一种有用的荧光探针。

R-Phycoerythrin (R-PE) is a fluorescent protein which may be isolated from red algae and belongs to the phycobiliprotein family of proteins. R-PE is an extremely intense fluorescent phycobiliprotein that exhibits an orange-red fluorescence. R-PE is useful as a fluorescence-based indicator for the presence of cyanobacteria and for labeling antibodies.
