CruzFluor™ 790 succinimidyl ester dyes work within the near infrared fluorescence labeling and conjugate to proteins and other biomolecules. CruzFluor™ 790 dyes have similar spectral properties as those of IRDye® 800 dye and indocyanine green (ICG) with an excitation maxima of ~783nm and an emission maxima of ~814 nm. Due to CruzFluor™ 790 dyes being well removed from many of the commonly used far-red fluorophores it such as Cruzfluor™ 647(sc-362620), CruzFluor™ 750 (sc-326623) or allophycocyanin (APC) making it an ideal dye for easing multicolor analysis or other near infrared detections, for instance two-color western applications. CruzFluor™ 790 are superb replacements for Alexa Fluor® 790, IRDye® 800 and DyLight® 800.|The CruzFluor™ family of products are a fluorescent labeling dye series that spans the full visible spectrum, and are useful to conjugate to nucleic acids, proteins and antibodies. The CruzFluor™ dyes are strong reagents for amine modification because they are incorporated with succinimidyl esters, which have a very strong ability to develop amide bonds that are as stable if not identical to the bonds found on a natural peptide.
