Sources  MAN-5 is a substructure of glyans found on several mammalian glycoproteins including human alpha-1 acid glycoprotein (hAAGP). This product is typically purified from the oligosaccharide pool released from hAAGP by hydrazinolysis using a combination of HPLC and glycosidase digestion.
